Sorry, bot not true. Prog dj's can play trance and vice versa.

But why would Punk be trance, because prog dj's don't play it? I don't think that's a very valid and strong argument. A lot of prog dj's don't play Probspot either, although it is progressive. A lot of trance dj's do play Probspot, so does that make it trance?

Most genres are so wide, it would be plain stupid to try and fit a certain song in to a sub-sub-sub-sub-genre.

Trance has a lot of sub-genres on its own: tech, progressive, melodic, uplifting, electro, etc...

Anyway, I think this discussion is pointless. If you like the song, who cares what genre it is?
