Come on sly that's not true. You might want to intellectualize it as such but, we are the sum of our past experiences. Someone cheating on you in a prior relationship will effect your next whether you like it or not, to pretend otherwise would be folly.

i kind of have to agree
ive been cheated on before.. maybe the guy didnt think he was cheating .. but in my heart i was cheated on... (and by cheating i dont mean kissing another girl.. i mean dating other girls and sleeping with everything that walks).

anyway.. it fucked me up good, and totally threw my trust off the scale. i've gotten over the whole deal.. yes... but in my next relationship i noticed i wasnt as easy going as i used to be.. i noticed i got jealous faster and etc.. it affected me without me even knowing i was affected.

Yep. my last 3 girlfriends were cheated on before me & were extremely jealous.

If a guy was hurt in a relationship he was in years ago, what does that have to do with the relationship he is in right now? The past is the past.

I was hurt years ago as well. But that's definetly NOT going to stop me from being happy now.

no of course it shouldnt stop you from being happy
but some events just play parts in your life that kind of make you act differently in the future.
