When I think buffet and good food, I think of Sidhartha - 1450 Gerrard East, at Craven Road, 416-465-4095.

One of my two favourite East Indian restaurants in Toronto, though it is a bit out of the way in the East-end.

My other recommendation for East Indian buffet is Sangam - 788 Bay Street (Bay & College), 416-591-7090. I used to live next door to these guys and would eat here often every night of the week. Stellar. I hadn't been in a year or two and they did some remodelling, looks great. After making comments to that effect, when the bill came, they gave me my 3 Cheetah lagers gratis. Very classy!

Mandarin yonge an eglinton.

Large space, buffet style, somewhat central...

Italian is one of my favourites, but Americanized Italian is probably my most hated foods.

Isn't that like Woodbine and Steeles? Yikes! My nose would start bleeding all the way up there

I like the idea of Italian buffet, though.

KATHMANDU KATHMANDU

By STEVEN DAVEY

KATHMANDU KATHMANDU (505A Yonge, at Alexander, 416-924-5787) This unassuming spot on the strip is easy to miss. But once discovered, it's a true find. Non-greasy north Indian and Nepalese fare served seven days a week as an all-you-can-eat buffet. Best: mixed veggie curry of cauliflower, eggplant, carrots and potato; eggplant bharta; cubes of lamb or goat in fiery tomato sauce; $3.99 bargain takeout-only shredded tandoori chicken wrapped in naan, coupled with a mango lassi. Complete lunches for $10 per person ($25 at dinner), including all taxes and tip. Open daily for lunch 11:30 am to 3:30 pm and for dinner 5 to 11 pm. Fully licensed. Access: short step at door, washrooms on same floor. Rating: NNN

to be honest i'm getting tired of the places we usually wind up at, but it doesn't matter as long as there is some pasta, and meats where it's to be, i'm more then happy

ps I really don't like Mandarin, it's too expensive for one, and two, I never really felt good after eating there, best Chinese I ever had was in markham I can't remember the name of the place, it was very euthentic and prices we're really cheap, I'm a monster when it come for food, but 1 4.95 plate filled me up
