Ever heard of the cast system in there? Where Africans/Pakistanis are the lowest, Indians then, Arabic, Europeans and at the top North Americans just before the locals. If you get into a dispute with someone with a higher status/cast or worse a local, you're expulsed from the country in the next days. no thanks. |
Hmmm, what does that make me? Hung like an african, my name's common in pakistan, I love Indian food, I'm half Arabic, half european, raised and educated in North America. Does all this combined make me a super class?

Lets speculate what Dubai's good for. Forget the oil, they're banking on Location. So they become a world travel hub, but how much revenue can flight connections bring? And sooner or later, all planes won't need to connect simply because of fuel capacity and better fuel efficiency. There goes their terminal hub money. Now what? Hmmmm, the middle eastern tech sector is dominated by Israel. Still nothing will compete with the US, Japan, Taiwan and even South Korea. Hotels and tourism? Well, they could draw alot of people looking for man made spectacles such as their buildings alone, and offer plenty of spa-like amenities, but c'mon, they'll never fill all those buildings with tourists. Hmmmmmm.....anybody else have any ideas?
