Hey... Assholes... Here's what I say...

I think those pretty lil pink spaces should be CLOSER to the building than they already are... I think they should be right at the fucking front door... Here's why...

Have any of you ******s been with a pregnant woman... I guess no... I've been in a serious relationship with two... They are always complaining about being so uncomfortable and in pain and crampy... imagine the worst period your girl has had and multiple how much she complains and whines by about 150 fucking times... thats the kind of uncomfort they are in... You know how much she pisses you off while shes just on her rag... well just imagine what i was going through...

Those spots are the best fucking idea yet... and no not all pregnant women use them... i think a decent human being can decide whether they really are in need of using a closer spot... Especially when there are women who need it more...

Stop being such selfish bastards... AND JUST GET BENT!!!

Right... they are 2 different arguements. Disabled people actually need those spots.

You see "feminists" would actually be "offended" by this whole idea of calling pregnancy a disease or a disability if there wasnt something in it for them

(note the use of the quotations)

You see the parking lot rammed and 10 handicapped spots at the front are empty.

You kill me... You just stated that there were too many disabled spots so why not use a few of them for expectant mothers

If all of these disabled spots are unused like YOU said I'm sure they can spare a few

I think what Jay was saying was that if a woman is in such a miserable state that she can't walk 10 extra feet to the store, then she's clearly not in any state to be shopping (where she'll undoubtedly be walking hundreds of feet) and probably not in a state to be driving either (where she'll be a danger to other people on the road if she's behind the wheel and might go into labour any minute). The point is not that pregnant women should be bedridden. The point is exactly the opposite - if they're able-bodied enough to shop, then they're able-bodied enough to walk through the parking lot.

For grocery stores, I can kinda see the point, because most Dads are incapable of doing the grocery shopping and the (expectant) moms HAVE to be there; but for a mall, where clearly the only purpose in being there is LEISURE, it doesn't make much sense.

But hey, the parking lots are private property and if the malls want to have special parking for expectant mothers, that's their perogative, and I'll respect those property rights and not park in them. But I happen to agree that they're a stupid idea, especially when there are over 50 of them in the parking lot of a huge mall (*cough*Yorkdale*cough*).

No

i said that there are too many handicapped spots AND on top of that there shouldnt be ANY pregnant parking.

Most of the time handicapped parking is adequate but lately i see rows and rows of it and its usually empty even during christmas.
