Although I disagree with it... regarding my feelings anyway, it may be applicable for others. I sure get a buzz from hearing astonishingly well-produced and structured groundbreaking music that gets inside my head, but that buzz is rather different from the buzz I get from hearing a well-executed piece of trance (or a close genre-relative of). The latter is the type of buzz which has no regard for any other kind of music... if you get what I mean. I don't judge a trance tune as a piece of music, I judge it as a piece of trance, ignoring the fact that it's musically unadventurous, formualic & mostly unoriginal. I don't know why, I just do. If it means I get to enjoy more music then all's good!

Of course it's all about opinions, its nothing but that. However, this didn't turn into flame war and I think it has been an okay thread.
