FEAT means that a (usually) female singer came along, and thought the tune was crap without vocals, so she sang all over it, and re-released it under a a remix rework, which was re mastered and re written. |
The plural of verse is verses, and your argument doesn't really hold for most trance records, which don't even have a chorus. Think instrumentals...?
And as for the featuring issue, well usually the original producer asks a vocalist to work with him/her in the first place, not the other way round as you imply.
