I like a fair share of his older productions, but I also agree somewhat with Ishkur here. Anything after and including Punk is complete dog shit in my opinion, but that's not what Ishkurs guide is getting at. Hope that clears things up.

Fuck 99', its 2005. And my record crate is full with great tunes i figure, so all is still good.

This kinda reminds me of that scene in Human Traffic where they are at the party in the club and System F - Out of The Blue is playing, and that one woman starts talking "I don't care what people say, its not like it used to be"

that was a fun movie, sure it was almost the rave version of "Hackers" but it still reflected what some people's experiences might have been like.

I think that ferry's sound and the stuff that emulated it has its own kind of charm to it, but at the same time I can understand why other kids say the things that they say about it.

I will never really know what this wonderful scene was like before napster, but I imagine that it was very different before the massive surge in popularity and the giant cash-in fest that many of us saw as the golden era of trance music.

Things just happen differently to different people, and its good to understand people who have different opinions.

Call it whatever you want, argue for whatever cause you believe in, the only thing that really matters in the end is that we can all meet at any given party and create an almost magical experience togher dancing and having fun, no matter where we come from, what sounds we prefer, or how we see what is happening.

seriously, if I ever meet any of you kids at a party in RL, no matter what we may have said to each other on here, I will be nice, we will have fun, maybe even get a little fucked up and do some dancing. Life is too short to be arguing like this, how about we go have some fun instead?

that guide was one of the cheesiest things I've ever seen and ferry is attracting more to trance not killing it. he's a pioneer of trance and has made some of the best tracks to date.

If I could, I would strangle that little piece-of-shit Ishkur to death. He is one of the primary contributors to elitism in EDM. That **** deserves to die.

/vent

So sick of him.
