You can't define something that means different things to others. I find tracks great that others think are cheese, and vice versa. In all honesty, there's no need in getting mad. Whether or not they find a track to be cheesy shouldn't ever change your opinion of it, and it certainly shouldn't warrant getting mad at them.

Instead of explaining shit to you in words I thought it may be better to explain with sound examples.
Clearly your brain isnt wired to hear the cheese. Just like certain peoples brains aren't wired to hear shitty mixes.

Cheese tracks don't song fresh or new. It sounds recycled. Cheese tracks don't song fresh or new. It sounds recycled.Old. And eventually boring. IT drives people nuts how lame people can be that actually like this un-artistic shit....
All his leads, basslines, etc sounds the same. Its an old sound and doesn't stand the test of time. This is the defintion of cheese.... All the songs have that same 'europhic' feeling but in a 'not -new -way'. It sounds old and dated. But worse it sounds copied or recycled...Cheese is holding on to the past. It is not being artist. It is not being new.
name some tracks that sound like jump the next train (slow train)

uhm, i dont wanna agree with pizzaboy .. but, ehm.. jump the next train vocals are pretty cheesy, and i'm suprised pvd is playing it. as for the flyers, if u dont find em funny i suggest your go download some humour somewhere
20. Marco V - I Feel You (Paul van Dyk Remix)
21. Paul van Dyk - For an Angel (Marc van Linden Remix)
32. Reeloop - Fucking Society (Instrumental Mix)
i think its time for PVD to update his playlist. is this 2002 or 2005? im surprised he didnt play crush and tool also.

Just the sound of the track ( ex vocals) sounds like any other typical trance track.
Nothing sounds 'new'. Its just another copied formula for a generic remix. Only difference is that it's PVD remix. If it said Armin Remix than everyone would be like ' yup this is gay'. What is the formula? Blad trance intro, breakdown, during breakdown play vocals, than come out of the breakdown with bland trance outro. I've wasted alot of money on shit trance tracks so I made sure never to make the same mistake again!
Now lets examine the vocals. Who the fuck is singin? Some 12 year boy ? The vocals are fuckin shit. I'm sorry but this is gay. More gay than Second Sun, and thats hard to beat.
for example, compare the vocals of the Other Side to Jump the Next Train. You would have to be deaf not to hear that Jump the Next Train has shit vocals.
I give credit for PVD for picking a vocalist for his track , The OtherSide, that can actually sing in an adult voice.
those are basically the two central features of this track that make it shit.
