my personal opinion here:

Guest lists for line bypass are completly ridiculous because so many people are on them that the wait actually becomes longer than the normal line. I wish the city's culture wasnt as such that everyone felt the need to be on some sort of a list. EIther you are getting in free because you know somebody or you aren't.

But thats just my opinion.

It is reasonable and generous for nightclubs to put regular/frequent/known customers on a guest list of some sort.

Whether or not you get in for free, get a discount or just get line bypass - it is nice to be recognized by the venue for the contribution that one plays in its success.

but then how do you pay promoters?
piece work is the only thing that really works, because its proof that the promoter is doing something. However, if Im going to a club anyways, and getting on somebodys list saves me $15, and then the promoter gets paid, then well...
its all crazy.

well i didnt go there, me and dj shan just thought to drive by and see whats it like so we did and no suprise to me, like tons of ppl in line, i said forget it and not my style of music, so it was pointless to go in . but it seemed nice from the outside.

yeah id give them maybe atleast a month or 2 before they start getting used to it.


whenever there are new people it takes time for everyone to learn, so i wouldnt doubt their learning curve, takes time.

i agree with what rj said early...cuase if i was to be a regular going to this club, paying $20 bucks cover each week, plus parking, and gas (from hamilton for me), let alone drinks, makes for one hell of an expensive night, so it'd be nice if the club would recognize its frequent supporters. i was dissapointed not to go last nite, but no way was i waiting in a 2hr line. hopefully next time i want to go things will be running a bit smoother...whats the explanation for not letting ppl in at 2am if there was plenty of room in the club? i'm happy to hear they're not overcapacitating the club, but don't make ppl wait if theres ample room. (of course, i don't know what ppl's definatition of 'room' is though, considering like the earlier comment said, we're all used to sardine can capacities.

my biggest pet peeve has always been the middle line at clubs...every club does it, and its so bloody annoying how everyone in the other lines have to wait for every last person in the middle to get in.

anyways, i hope to check this club out, prolly won't happen for a month at least now cause of school...so hopefully things will be better by then.

Cheaper lots require a little walking. 1 is located on the south side of Wellington, just east of Peter. There's another one on the SW corner of that intersection too.

Arrive early enough, and u may find street parking. Just watch out what time the meters run until-
