I often more like give colors to certain parts of the track, for example the bassline is often brown or grey. Pads are all mothed out and often blue or green. Leads can be pretty much any color.

Prog tracks are often pretty brown hehe. And cheese is often yellow. But good stuff can be yellow too.
In Tilt - The World Doesn't Know the bass is lika a crawling grey thing with a tint of yellow and with spikes on it, and the blip-blop sounds "above" is like... green? Hmm.
Whiteroom - The White Room is a purple track, but the lead is kinda white. Adam White - Halcyon has a green vocal.

Also I think that Sprite tastes like unfiltered supersaw. Anybody else?

I doubt all these examples are synaesthesia - it's a very rare condition, only present in 1 of 500.000 people.
Associating feelings/memories from certain parts of the brain with sensations from other parts is more usual, and is probably what most people've experienced.

yep its synaesthesia, its no uncommon. if you practice enough you can use it your advantage. i get it in any song that i concentrate, might not work for everyone but i know other people who use it to key their music! which is what i do...its weird...i though i was insane for a while as well lol
