Are the Violet Crown Sessions no more? Or are these mixes supplementing them?

Really loved the VCS, still listen to them all on a regular basis. Keep up the superb work, very much appreciated

Thanks man. I haven't made time again for a weekly yet. Heh, neither has my pocket book. But this week I'm working on another full cd-length mix catoring to the VCS progressive style. Thanks for the support and check back in this forum for my latest.

The last track was the only one with any decent melody and structure. The other tracks were just a wishy washy monotone exercise in a self indulgence on the procucers part thinking that some of us would have the patience to endure such long drawn out mini epics with anti climactic finales.

Peter Martin – Sunday Melody was good though so thanks for the heads up on that track.

Seriously, you must be deaf. I made this mix about 7 months ago and these tracks are still considered great. The first track is a remix by Peter Martin by the way, which holds so much more production genius than the last track sunday melody. The Fretwell remix is possibly his best to date. Another included by AFK is a track that is produced so well--IMO his best track to date, a rising star with such great quality tracks and production work.

Its one thing to criticise, but coming up on my post 7 months after I posted and making bogus comments against great producers is uncalled for. I mean, listen to your own "chill out" mixes. Those are indeed repetitive tracks in which you mix by simply crossfading.

Grow up and show some real producers that I have introduced in this mix the credit they deserve.

I did not criticise your mixing as it was faultless. The music on the other hand was inane. My chillout mixes contain tracks with real musicality and have very little beat to beat mix with. Please be my guess if you think you can beat mix that music ???? DOn't think so.

We all have different tastes anyway so don't get so offended when I don;t like yours. I only listened to it 2 days ago so it matters not when the mix was uploaded.

I personally find that music immature and shallow but hey. Thats just me.

I'm 2/3 way into the set and it has it's interesting moments. I haven't really heard too many Progressive Breaks tracks or sets but I'm definetly digging this. Good job man.
