He didnt really budge but this lady that was up there came down and i told her who i am and thats my song right now and she let me in. I ended up standing next to Paul who was very happy to see me, and even took his hand and rubbed it on my head like we're buddies or something. Anyway I was jumping around during my song and that was probably the best night of my life. Got to talk to Paul a bit as well, which was nice since he seems to joke around a lot. I stayed up there for a couple of more songs and ended up leaving around 4 because my stupid friends wanted to leave and they had my keys in their car... so i missed out!!!

"Alone" sounded amazing at the club. I have heard two different versions of "Alone", but the one last night was so HARD! The bass was just pounding my heart, and the melody moved along quickly...GREAT WORK Tom. I saw you up there jumping and dancing and that must have been such a great moment for you. It looked like you were paying very close attention to Paul's mixxing. Take any good notes?

ummmm....what's next (after "Alone")?

paul van dyk, you're still the one and only..... it was an amazing set, an amazing night, and a really good club besides their bloody excess use of strobes and overcrowdedness till 6 am. smoothly managed, no lines, unheard of. crowd was decent...

great seeing rory/caryn/dom + friends. we made one hell of a pvd freak party team. lee, you were missed... until the next one!

thomas datt your song sounds amazing at the club... i already liked it but on the system WOW.

my only complain- ive wanted pvd to play say hello since i heard it the first time and he did, but the sound was sucking at that point and it was hard to hear the rework properly.

Hell yeah! This night was bangin! It was one of the best PvD experiences I've had, hands down (er...hands up in the air actually).

My favorite tracks of the night...
White Room - Someday (some sweet mix without all the fluff)
Deep Dish - Say Hello (don't know how PvD reworked this on short notice, as Umer pointed out to me, he only had/played the Original version on Fritz 2 days ago!)
White Water - The Unknown (I love this track (except for the 2 verses) and it was what I was looking to hear all week. PvD's mix is a great production)
Gerry Cueto - Messages (this is tune is soooooo nice! Caryn was dancing like a maniac to this! It was played at the end of the night and we were all pretty beat, but damn did this song pump the whole crew up. Go get it and turn it up!)

I can't wait to do this again with all the PvD lovers out there (who can last the night and dance hard all the way till the end)

Ohhh, some shit I gotta bitch about...
Sound was only so-so. Not sure why edgarV moved to the top booth, but it seemed like these guys were having some serious technical difficulties, fixing the main booth for over an hour.
Lights sucked. I don't even want to expain this.
The club was PACKED! It was pretty uncomfortable for the first 2 hrs.
Paul encored with NBY and Crush (and some cheezy vocal tune from PvD personal discman collection)! Come on Paul...keep in mind what the NNEDS of fans who stay for the whole set time and time again. He should have played some of the new-hot shit from earlier in the night.

All in all, fantastic. I'll have pics and vidz up soon...

Well I would not make a comment like that on somebody unless I knew him/her pretty well.

As per what you said then PvD has also not been to many clubs with pressurized smoke machines coz the first couple of times it happened he was foxed and even bought the levels down the first time and was blaming on the guy on the second-level booth giving him a thumbs-down.....

Its never THIS loud.

It cracked me up when Paul was waving his finger (index, not middle) at the guy. He wasn't pissed or anything, just took it in stride and enjoyed it with that sly smile on his face.

I started the night by getting a little too drunk in Hoboken.. I thought I was going to vomit on the path
I made my friend get off and walk to the club because I was feeling so ill. tried to take a cab, but was feeling really ill in the car too.. So we walked to the club, even though it took a half an hour, it was worth it to start feeling better.. We got to the club around 1.. the line wasn't too bad.. At least I don't think it was too bad, I really can't remember the first few hours that I was at the club..
I met up with a bunch of my friends..
I almost got into a fight with a guy at the back bar.. I was dancing back there with a guy friend and some guy came up to me and asked me if we were togther.. I replied no, but I would never date you and he got a little angry.. tried to talk some shit to my friend but I got in the middle and pushed the guy along..
After that I was running around from the main floor and to all of the other rooms finding my friends and trying not to lose them again
I did run into Brian by the bathrooms in the hip hop room.. I recognized his photo, so I said hello.. He's the only person from here that I ran into..
At 4 I finally felt better and went to the main floor to dance.. thank god it started to clear out and they started to clean the floor..
When I first went up there to dance, I was falling all over the place because there was too much shit on the floor!
I stayed there the rest of the night and danced my ass off! Met a bunch of guys while dancing, but I was more interested in dancing to PvD than hooking up..
Overall, it was really fun from 4 on..danced the entire time.. was getting sleepy as hell since I wake up at 5 to go to work during the week, but kept dancing anyway..
Can't wait until Summerstage!!

Paul's funny.. he doesn't talk! I did get a hug though
