If my memory serves me correctly then Marco V, Bad Boy Bill, Timo Maas, NU-NRG, Danny Howells, and etc. all spun at emerald city. Hell, what do I know about good music since according to you I have no ambition to grow musically. FYI, I'm not even a fan of emerald city. I only go there when a good dj is spinning. As for smaller venues, I don't like feeling like a sardine in a can. So think whatever you like, I've been partying for over 6 years now. I know what I like and what I don't. I don't think I should be judged for that. So if going to certain venues in Philadelphia to be among friends makes me seem inexperience and jaded then so be it. At least I'm enjoying myself. |
if you love the music that much, then why have you hardly been to fluid?? EC is ran by neaderthals who hire those DJs based on heresay...on a regular night in philly, bigger clubs = worse music and smeller clubs = better music...but youve been clubbing in philly for 6 years now; you would have known that already...and for someone who claims to love the music, you should konw good music makes all the difference...
in the great words of the shawshank redemption: im glad youve gone this far...now if you want to, maybe you can go a little farther..

I do know that good music makes a better time. I totally agree with you there, but sometimes the company you are with can make it even better. I really don't concern myself with how the promotors in philly book different DJ's and where they book them. Im just thrilled that they are here. And I don't go to fluid on wednesdays because I have to be in work by 7:00am thursday.
