By that do you mean more inventive than it used to be or more inventive than trance?

I think that trance used to be on par with house, if not better than it. I used to not be so into house music but I've been led more to it over the last year or two.

I think that now it's more inventive than trance. Is it more inventive than older house? I can't say because to be honest I didn't listen to enough of it years ago to be able to make a comparrison.

When you have to sort through like 400 songs just to get a few good ones you get very tired very quickly. When there's another 100 Armin van Buurens running around creating the same cookie cutter dribble then you kind of lose interest.

With rap I don't listen to new stuff unless someone suggests it as being very good.

Is 2005 a good year for trance? I wouldn't know. I haven't heard much trance in 2005. A lot of euro with Corsten presets and adult contemporary with a 4/4 beat, sure, but trance? Nay.

This year is already been amazing for house and it's just going to keep getting better. Nick Warren GU28, Sasha releasing another album, Digweed supposedly has another release on the way. Either way you look at it, the best of the best from both sides of the fence are making some serious albums right now. This year is definately going to be interesting, but we'll just have to wait and see how it all pans out. That's why I said wait till December/January to ask cause it may all go downhill before we're even half way through 05.

i know trance evolves but what it's evolved into is mighty boring. when i listen to old tiesto and ferry corsten mixes it's what trance to me should sound like. now i hear them spin and they have 100 times the fan base and they just don't do it for me anymore.
