From what I've heard that is the correct story, although exactly what company suplied the tables is up in the air, some say Vestax, some say Stanton.
Again goes to show what a picky bastard he is.
According to Frankie Bones, he recently played at a gig that was sponsored by Vestax, and as a result the tables were Vestax. According to what he said on discogs, he is as loyal to technics, as any other old skool dj, but regardless, he played out on them, and didn't put up a fuss, and rightfully so, because he is a dj. In the end, to his surprise he was happy with the results.
So pleased that he infact continued to post a thread in the tech forum claiming that he would trade his technics for a pair of vestax tables anyday.

Now if an oldskool arse like him can be open minded to new decks, why wouldnt sasha be?
Because he a wankface. I guess you could argue that Sasha has the right to be a fussy little bitch because he is so much more famous, and rich (you would most probably be correct in saying that) and has done so much more for the dance scene (now theres where you would be completely incorrect.) But I don't feel that is any excuse. He is still a fucking dj. Besides, back when he used vinyl, his mixing style was far less demanding than frankie bones, so he really has very little reason for being such a bitch over tables. Besides, he would have probably ended up liking them better, if he had given them a chance. Just like frankie bones and carl cox have found.
Oh well, people have been sucking on Technics' dick for a long time now, and it was righfully so, just up until the past 2 years.
