Chelsea in debt???? lol ...abramovich is worth 7 billion pounds and has spent 300 million pounds out of his own pocket to build the club .. naturally they experiencing losses but they are not in any sort of hectic debts |
If he wakes up a decides to leave tomorrow they are fuck'd. Arsenal and liverpool are both building new stadiums. THey dont have the money to build them, but they are getting loans, thats how its works.

You are clearly a thick **** so I am not going to bother arguing with you. Go back to your great transfer thread and make up some more bullshit about Raul coming to Old Trafford |
great rebuttal there, really impressive. Did it take you long to think that one up?
i seriusly hope not.

From what I've heard, he is not putting any of his money in it. He bought the shares with some loans, and once he get the 90% of them (so the other shares owners must sell their shares to him) he is going to pass all the debt to United. So he is not going to lose anything and I see big chances that Man U will disappear in the next 4-5 years, which will be a shame. |
He is putting his money into it, hes getting a 256m bank loan, but he is defintly putting some of his money into it. He cant just transfer the debt to united, its not possible. He cant come along, buy the club with no finicial backing on his own, and say "here united, you take the debt". If that was the case i could of done that.
Thats not a huge amount, its similiar the what arsenal owe on their new gorund. Manchester united have a massive marketing potential. They are going on an Asia tour this summer, which is where he will try to tap into most.
THe tv deal with sky runs out in 2006, which is where he will make his money i feel. He can use mutv to show all the live united matches if he likes. Again that will make him a massive amount of profit.
He can sell the stadium and lease it back, selling the name rights to nike which is being mentioned. They are already increaing(or trying to)the ground to 70,000. Theres no chance they will turn into a leeds.

lol no offence dude but i dont think you have the slightest clue about football .... a lot of true supporters refer to their team as WE which is what kato meant when he said our money and our club and regarding you statement on what would worry glazer more, let me give you a free class on logic ... IF we lose or club, glazer loses his money ... theres no OR in between
and Raul is coming to Old Trafford so we obviously have money to spend YAY!!! |
yes, i dont have the slightest clue about football.
They can refer to there teams as we(i do aswell) as much as they like but its all bullshit. How many shares did he buy? or you buy for that matter?
Also, considering yous virtually no money to spend this summer this is probaly a good thing.

Except that the blue baron recently reiterated his commitment to Chelsea FC publicly. So unless he is sent to jail or something catastrophic occurs in the oil markets that results in his investments taking a huge loss there's very little chance he will be leaving anytime soon.
|
oh yea i know. I dont think theres any chance he will leave, but its still a possibilty thats what i am saying.

excactly. So i dont see why people are saying Glazier will bankrupt united and turn them into a leeds. He isnt investing his money to lose it all.

From what I've heard, once he has control over the 100% of the club he can transfer the loan from him to Manchester. Sure, he is risking some of his money, but Glazer is no Abrahimovic who uses his own money for running Chelsea.
