If you fancy giving ambient and ambient psy music a go then i suggest taking a listen to one of the first 5 albums as they are all amazing. If u want to listen to some samples go to www.ultimae.com and go check them out
and now some other albums :
M83 - Before The Dawn Heals Us
Bloc Party - Silent Alarm
Excellent indie band that seems to appeal to edm fans and rock fans alike.
Longview - Mecury/Subversions
Another excellent indie album that doesnt get as much attention as it should. Very melodic style that should appeal especially to fans of trance, plus this version has the "subversions" extra cd with remixes from Ulrich Schnauss, Elbow and Mogwai!
Jack Johnson - In Between Dreams
This is just a great summer album, when the suns beating down get the bbq going, get a beer and stick on this cd
UNKLE SOUNDS - Edit Music For a Film - superb release by james Lavelle & co. anybody who likes either movie samples or UNKLE music would prolly love it as much as i do. actually id recommend it to any avid music junkie. as usual it hasnt gotten as much recognition as other mainstream artist cd but def deserves it. prolly one of the best purchase ive made this year.
V.A. - A Twist of Marley - something recommended to me by a fellow TA awhile ago. its a cover album featuring songs by bob marley and sung by some of the most talented veteran jazz artists like maxi priest. honestly, at first i didnt know what to expect. but i was very pleasantly surprised.
Sarah McLachlan - Fumbling Towards Ecstacy
imo its her best album to date. all the songs on the albums are precious. one of my fav song ever is a secret track on this cd: Posession (Acoustic version). i cant think of one track that i dislike on this album. i like to have it on as i go to sleep.
Keane - Hopes & Fears - im sure pretty much everybodys heard at least one song by them in the past year or so. anyways, the albums highly recommended. its a shame that there are too few songs on it. many say they are too much like coldplay and that coldplays better but i think both are equally good but prefer keane.
Tori Amos - Little Earthquakes : debut album of hers and one of her best.

Released 3 years ago by an extremely talented musician. Just the most moving music to listen to, especially when you're upset! Alternatively, very relaxing music to fall asleep to. I suggest you buy it. Magical.

Tiny image, but you can just about make out the two most romatic requiems ever written by Faure and Durufle.
**
English rennaisance choral music at its best.
**
At least the chillout series are consistent. Good CD from MoS.
**
The final CD from them. Eerie and sad in parts, but incredibly powerful nevertheless.
