lol... I dont pretend to know the ins and outs of a record company, but I really cant see why they cant release a track (with no vocals or stuff that needs licensing) within a month of signing it

heh,,, because of the following:

once the track is signed the producer usually want to make final fixes and mastering. after that, the label must do masteting for all tracks / remixes. mvl remix took maybe 2 - 3 weeks to finish. there's some paperwork involved. then it must go to pressing. while all of this is taking place,,, paul is promoting the track so it can become famous.

i think its fair
