But, hangon... that's what happened to me!!! But I have a brass orchestral, jazz, punk, metal, funk, folk, pop, dirty house/prog backround! There's very few styles I absolutely turn my nose up at these days, but there's really only 1 that gives me chills

Did I just read METAL??? Hello! Now we're talking Even filthier! hehe

Uh-huh!

Deftones = teh complete win!! (Myles back me up here!! )

Epic and powerful music - like trance really. Dirty house I do enjoy for its grimey aspect but the emotion about it is all to trivial- the chord progressions are just too nonchalant.. no drama to it- it's all bluesy.. which I like.. but as I said I need chills from tension and release, from stunning production of kicks, pumping basslines, synths, pads, and fx.

Dirty house (& hardhouse) is unfortunately just such a backround thing for me- I can't focus on it. Do yourself a favour and find a classical peice of music called "andromeda overture" there's another favourite orchestra peice called "exodus" too (I played Bb Baritone in a 50 peice concert band for these choonz and OMFG chills!!) You'll be treated, and also you'll know what I see in trance

Haaaaa..... *reminisces about playing grunge coverz @ the maif* (yes in hobart )
