u really think so?? i mean the C5 being an exception...they tend to loose handling as they go up in displacement and weight...

Well I don't think you're gonna be taking your 240SX to a road course or autocross anytime soon, so I'm gonna assume you're talking about straight line here. And yes, they can't handle for shit, until you get into upper models, like the Firebird Formula or TransAm WS6 (both '93+, with LT1 or LS1 engines). Mustang Cobras are pretty decent in twisties too.

the s13 was built for autocross...if i had the dough and hadnt sold my x 240, the racetrack is much more suitable option than a dragstrip...i'll agree with you on the dragstrip but the cobra cant perform on turns...trust me...

My uncle's '03 Cobra is pretty handy in an autocross.

Hey

don't quote me on this but

it seems all the japanese manufactures are headed in the direction of

having a flagship super car under their belt, anyone seen the prototype

that's suppose to come stock with around 500hp??

there's a really early prototype photo @ www.suprastore.com

don't know how reliable that is tho.

Dsm's can be reliable... but definately have been making mechanics since 89'.
sr20> ca18. aluminum block is fine. stock hp record for sr20 is 550ish rwhp. (secret services..may have been broken since , not sure)

built they can handle lots.

built, honda motors can handle lots even with the open deck(or you could resleeve if need be).

s13 wasnt designed for an autox course.. lolz.

cobra can handle...domestics can handle despite what people/ricers think. It may not be the msot communicative and heavy but they can handle. (not stock though..they need some aftermarket help..well actually pretty much anything sub 100k with a few exceptions needs aftermarket help).

only a few domestics are go fast for low money. even then its hard to find good prices in canada. the used market for domestics(stangs, trans ams etc) is retardedly high! compared to the us that is.

where a honda or other import holds value on both sides, domestics are artificially holding value here cause people thing an 89 stang with headers and exhaust is worth 9k

anyways. you can go fast with a bazzillion amt of cars. Im glad at the selection we have availible to us.
Give respect where respect is due regardless of make, model and drive wheels
