to my understanding, the reason the track is staying solange - messages and not gerry cueto - messages is because it's still solange's for 10 years as contracted. and since it was released in 1998, it hasn't been ten years yet. i don't think paul has stolen gerry's track or jipped him, he just can't put his name on it. and we all know that paul never notes remixers and that's something i noticed recently. that's really gay...i mena REALLY.

on another note, i was also wondering why there were so many older tracks. i'm sure they're redone, by himself of course. but still...

the first politics of dancing will always be unbeatable. his style has changed so much in my opinion. from production to selection. but oh well.

Yeah to me the whole Second Sun incedent sounds like they signed a tricky contract... so they got jipped legally... If it were an illegal jip, you'd hear some noise about it on TA especially (like with the Scooter rips).

i don't think he stole crush. personally i don't know why he would even want to steal ideas from them. i don't even think he remixed that track...if anything, he reproduced it for them. the original sounds like ubershit. and i'm sure there's something behind the music, in the politics that has to do with why it was labeled that. so i agree with gerry. i'm sure they agreed to it, whether aware of the contract details or not. i don't think making assumptions about him taking melodies and stuff gives the correct description to people out there that really don't know what's going on and why the track was named that way.

Finally got my hands on these.

Again, Paul played all the songs with the pitch too low. I love the tracklist, but low pitches are a major no-no with me, so into Cool Edit they go and the pitch is getting yanked the fuck up.

Other than that, no complaints. Love the CDs.
