not much for electronica in tampa. the big bad and hyped up amp in ybor city sucked ass. only when they have a big star there is it any good. then there's the not to well-known Underground. I've been around much the U.S. and can say that although the east coast (especially DC) is more uptight than the 99% of the west, there is diversity in people no matter where you are unless it's some small town in the middle of nowhere. I mean, the most glamorous destinations in the U.S. (LA, Hollywood, Miami, Aspen & Vail Colorado, Hamptons of NY, etc.) often have the fakest, most superficial people, but it's pretty much fact that there are many good people there as well.

Screw it, it's not even worth fighting about - just continue to be miserable in a place where so many others are having a killer time! (and I hope for your sake that you try to enjoy yourself when Carl Cox comes to Nation!)
