now to another thing: how is this mixer better than a numark in the same price range? please enlighten everyone on here...
not that i think numark are great, since i would never buy one after using one for about 5 months...they don't last. but i still think numark edges behringer in the price range.

Theres plenty of good mixers for $200 or less. The denon dnx-100 is pretty good for the money, and if you can save up to around $250, get the pioneer djm-707 and pricematch it. I know, they're battle mixers, but so what? You get a curve control, good vca faders, and a 3 band eq. It's more than enough for somebody that needs a good inexpensive mixer. You will be able to run two turntables and two cd decks with these. For many that should be enough unless your like me. Believe me, there are so many good cheap mixers now than ever before. Behringer is and never was one of them.

Good lord,
I played with a behringer at a DJ store, when deciding which mixxa to buy. In the space of half an hour, it fucked up twice. NOt only that, this same unit had just been newly fixed from behringer. After it had been returned from repairs, some of the controls were put in upside down.

dude, dont fret about it there are plenty of people that couldnt tell how ordinary it is when theyre new to everything (me being one). and im sure there are plenty of 2-channel mixes that are better. mine has been fine to learn on. its worked perfectly now for 17 months give or take. just be gentle with it.
you get what you pay for
edit: there is one thing freaky about it. it removes one particular synth line on one particular song. not live, but when recorded as well as in the headphones. ive never worked out why it did that, hehe. but its only one song
