let's see...between your first post in this thread and up until your last post (23 minutes), you could opened a new browser window and gone to just about any news site to find out the results

instead, you were lazy and decided to wait for someone to hopefully post some sort of result in this thread

good job

It was great to experience the night tennis atmosphere.
Also, the Grandstand was rockin' during Andrew Murray's (an 18-year-old Brit) 5-set win.

i was on armstrong for two matches tonight (mirnyi vs gimelstob and ginepri vs garcia-lopez). i'm sorry, but from what i saw of the roddick match, it's like he and/or his coach did not prepare him for a lefty at all. he didn't know how to handle the spin coming off the lefty serve. i laugh that roddick lost.

Last night i was so pissed at Roddick....

BUT

Think about it...look at the score
777
666

They BOTH held serve....almost no break points.
Yes Roddick's back hand was disgusting...but Muller wasn't breaking him every game. So i would say it was pretty even...untill the tie breaks.

anyway it sucks he is out early.......

Now all i have left to go for is Nadal and Agassi...but i think we all know who is going to win this slam.

WRONG

roddick was up 5-2 in the first set, was going to serve out the first set at 5-3, and proceeded to choke

right....but how did the set end? in a 7-6 tie break....yes Roddick choked in the first set for 3 games...but how many other breaks did Muller have?

it's misleading to say that they both held serve throughout the match. they broke each other once, and only in first set. i'm just pointing out that what u said technically was wrong.

ok you are right concerning the FIRST set...Roddick DID choke...but the 2nd and 3rd? they both held until the tie breaks pretty much....i am not saying Roddick was good...jus that they both played about even till the tie breaks.

i cringed....he had a better backhand with Gilbert...not sure what he is being told now.

Anyone see that kid from Scotland throw up? LOL....i forgot his name.

And also how cool is it that Scovil Jenkings (sp?) made it to the 2nd round after is beating last year from Roddick,,,,this kid is up and coming and i cant wait to see how he does in the next few years.

nadal v. scoville = matchup of the first two people roddick beat last year. jenkins was roddick's first round last year, then nadal second round. murray threw up twice. friends working the match all said that as soon as he vomited, he'd drink water, wipe his mouth, then tell the ballpeople, "let's go!"
