mine's free due to the national health service here, but it comes at a price, as it's all taken from taxes paid anyway, and the service is in a major crisis (think too many people in suits, not enough doing the actual 'work') and they messed my teeth up when they put a brace on anyway, i'm still recovering (and it's costing a fortune for the actual dental work) but another thing being investigated on me could be linked to why the teeth aren't greatly strong anyway. A lot of ifs & but's at the moment. |
Woah. I didn't know the situation was so complex over there. Either way, that's pretty good if it'll be covered by the health service.
As for your teeth being damaged due to previous dental work, isn't there some way of getting said health service to cover your costs due to the dentist's mess-up?
Unfortunately, work on the jaw is, 95% of the time, not covered by medical/dental insurance. In other words, the wallet cries.

nope, we made a complaint about the woman cutting corners & rushing jobs but they didn't do anything, all they did was give me to the hospitals other orthodontist who while very nice smells very bad. He's hard to visit in hot weather.
the nhs, well yeah, basic care is free to all, but if you have the money you can go private. Right now, many people are so disillusioned, they're having operations in india, romania, belgium & other places, and claiming the money from the NHS for it, it lacks staff & a lot, and each hospital has way too many suits wasting money to work properly
