• Many people actually DO use this poll as an indicator of the "skill" of the DJs in the top 100. Club owners, promoters, music fans and clubbers DO use this poll to judge the skill and technical ability of DJs, despite what some people have said in this thread.
  
• You might argue that the DJ Mag Top 100 poll just indicates the popularity of DJs, but many people take this poll literally!! It is hurting our scene and it only encourages greed and complacency.

no i agree with you totally. i didnt say it was right. i just said the whole point in the dj mag poll is to assess the djs popularity and it does just that.
