The price you're looking at is the price of an oil contract that expires in late september. You never look at the 'current' price so to speak.. unless the date of expiry is near your current date.. and even then...

a station here in Kitchener is already at $1.65 and in Windsor (my dad is there now) apparently people are lined up all over the place to get gas..
