well, to fit more tracks ofcourse.. what u want? seven 10 minute tracks, or 12 tracks that are in somewhat different length? its an album, so having all full length tracks would be kinda boring, or repetetive, i cant remember seeing any album of any artists, that doesnt have some shorter tracks on the album..
yes. seven tracks would be fine. i hate to hear those horrible raped edit versions. they just sound so wrong! tiësto's in my memory for example was a great album IMO. i think it only had one edited song and even that was over 9min on the cd (obsession that is, the original is around 12min i believe). i just don't see how progressive trance can be edited that much or any other trance really, because trance is pretty much always somewhat progressive and does not work in edit form.

playing digital downloads out in bars/pubs/clubs/radio is illegal in finland, so that's not really an option atm. but i think i still have to do that. too bad that's taking so long though. i'd want the tracks in full wav quality rather too though.
i'm just kinda bummed that i cannot buy what i want and i'm not really ready to pay for something i don't need.

If Laurent's tracks make it to Beatport you can buy them in WAV format.... But I understand your dilema. Are not all the songs you are looking for on vinyl?
It may have been a licensing issue, maybe Laurent didn't want all of his songs in unedited format, etc. Who knows... just speculation at this point. Either way, L-Vee's music kicks ass!

i agree with skip. i know he more than anyone have pushed this question on this forum. and its an important one.
From my experience Bonzai have always cut down tunes which always was dissapointing.
I also prefer lesser tunes but original lenghts. Trance is not about editing, its a journey, may it be well over 12-13 minutes.
But I guess in the end its all about the labels decision and they have to think more about profits than about anything else.

Holy shit, Lolo is Airwave. Hahaha, I'm a nOOb here so that would explain why I don't know that. I LOVE "When Things Go Wrong," that song is amazing, AND, it's on my abosolute favorite CD in my absolute favorite CD series "A Trip In Trance." "Lady Blue" is a bad ass song too. I also like your remix of "Air For Life". Airwave here? And people are bashing him? What the fuck is wrong with you? Airwave is rad.

respect to laurent
for me, laurent is the number one trance producer on earth. he was and he still is. why? his tracks includes such an overdose of feelings, it's simply amazing. he's always up to surprise people by doing different things. i'm not sure if you ever heard his album under the name "lô". it's available on itunes and it's the best example to what he's capable of.
