This is so true. When living as a student in Waterloo, we of course never had dishwashers. I so got used to just washing my dishes. Fucking LOVED the activity. It was totally calming, relaxing. (I never even played trance while doing it, that would only make it better! Great idea Cassidy.)

I do indeed recommend this. I enjoyed what it brought to me. If you keep on top of it (and you're only washing yours), it's not a big deal either at all.

We have a dishwasher here, but often I'll wash mine by hand still anyways.

Sorry to bump, but fuck.

"DISORIENTATED"

STOP IT

STOP IT NOW

It's "DISORIENTED," NOT DISORIENTATED

STOP SAYING HEY GUYS I GOTTA GET ORIENTATED TO THIS AREA. ORIENTED. NOT ORIENTATED.

It may be correct according to some people or some dictionaries but it drives me up the wall and everybody who says it or types it is instantly discounted in my books because it's just not the Queen's own.

Thick (wide), unattractive bra straps.

Yes I know now all chicks can help it, many just have too large breasts to be able to get thinner, more visually appealing straps (and that's assuming they cared too... I'm sure some couldn't careless), and fair enough.

But I still hate thick bra straps.

My pet peeves for the online world:

1. People who abbreviate everything - as in "OTOH, AFAIK U R SOL W/ MJ, LOL! ROFL! K THX BBL". Even worse, people who say or spell out these abbreviations in a real face-to-face conversation.

2. People who post a question or request on a forum or newsgroup, and ask for a response by e-mail. Sorry, but your time is not more important than the rest of ours'. Usually, these people never post again until they need something else.

3. People who only ever msg me to ask for help with something (or to complain, or to yack for an hour about something they KNOW I don't care about) - and don't even pretend to be interested in how I'm doing after I'm gracious enough to provide that help. Doing this once is fine; doing it twice is fine; but when my last 10 conversations all look like that, it gets old fast.

4. People who clearly don't care that their spelling and punctuation is SO bad that their message is completely incomprehensible. I'm not the grammar gestapo, and I consider it tactless to criticize that most of the time, but please, READ your message before you send it and ask yourself, "will this make sense to anyone else reading it?"

5. People who "emote" online to an insane degree, usually by placing some action-oriented sentence between asterisk characters. *claps* is fine. *grins* is fine. *jumps up and down* is pushing it. *does 3 laps around the room, pees on the rug, then steals an AK-47 and assassinates the president* is going too far. Talk about your fantasies to someone else.

stupid things that bug the shit outta me on msn...

- when people say "oic", "ic", "so...", or "what do you want to talk about?"

- when people cant spell simple words (ie "later" spelled as "latter")

- when people contact you and expect you to talk to them and when you stop talking to them they think you are ignoring them...

uggggggh
