if u want to be scientific sure, but u implied that ours we're larger than mr normal due to our "position of power" - i can assure u i have no ego from modding, it does my head in. I'd love to just use ta like everyone else, and not face this bombardment of crap all the time, members complaining, the PM's, everything else. Why do you think most mods bugger off within 6 months? they're all for it, and then u never see them again. Me and Neo are about the only ones who have stuck it out hardcore. |
listen, i know how it feels to be a mod. Try reading more than 100 poems a day looking for obscene content, suicidal references, and basic gibber gabber that doesn't belong in a poetry forum.
I know how that is........ but there is a PRIDE involving "moderatorship". If not, why do it? You are the "role models".........you are the people everyone goes to if they have a problem. It's a leadership role, and along with leadership comes responsibilities and gratification for a job well done.
Now, im just going to say, in the end, it does help out the ego when people commend on on a job well done, no?
I think that's only natural.
but it can get annoying being a 3rd party, having to read that all the time
