even though your fav dj may not have been there, los angeles has been the best city in usa (if not the world ) for new years eve for the past few years, especially since giant has been throwing their vilage party (about five years, since pvd played sunset blvd), and which has been in the streets of downtown losangeles for the past couple of years (except when it was in the hotel). even the rival parties tend to bring out the good talent, such as spundae on their day one party, or together as one. i now live in new york city, but i have had to go back to la every year for the nye parties, and i have never felt like i missed out on anything not staying to party in nyc in the crowded as hell clubs with tiesto.

i still think that la is one of the best cities to party in , and is certainly a hot trance city, certainly more so than nyc.

He will be playing in either SF or LA first (apparently LA), bring in the new year, and take a jet (hour flight or so) to the other city.

depends on your taste in music.

la is preatty tasty for trance lovers.
montreal is preatty sick for houseg and tribal.
