I agree with System-J on this subject. This is something which can't be stressed enough. Hopefully this will enlighten people and won't make fool of themselves by having Above & Beyond ranked higher than Sasha in a top DJ vote. LOL! It's really hard to grasp.
akkare: this has nothing to do with bandwagons and I don't know what you are about but this is something which people really should think about and which clearly shows in this and other threads; alot of people actually don't have a fuckin clue about the difference betweend DJ and producer. And still alot of those who knows the difference thinks that a DJ must be a good producer to become a good DJ. Since when does good production skills make good DJ skills?

Look, just because a post is aggressive doesn't mean it is shitting on a community. I didn't post it to drag people down, I posted because I was frustrated, and wanted to articulate that.

I know most of this community isn't guilty of what I was ranting about- it wasn't a general putdown of the TA community. It was an attack on a small group of people who manage to discredit every poll or list by voting for the wrong reasons.

System-J you're initial post discussing the subject was rather poor. Instead of making an intelligent observation on people voting for DJ's on their studio work you've called everyones idiots and other such names in a rather flame like manner. I suggest in the future you a) scan thro pages 1-5 to see if this topic had already been discussed (which having the results just announced logic suggests it has been) and b) put more effort into a topic, and less focus on the flame style attempt which you ended up with.

Akkare i understand your point, but launching into this thread with the same mentality the thread starter used to create it wasnt going to help the situation either. You think the thread is shit, fair cop, but do u really have nothing else better to do than come in and bash him? yes he could have made a better job making it, or looked for another one on this topic but there was no need just to hurl abuse.
