I wouldn't be surprised if it was true. I've seen videos and newslinks of what people do when high on meth and it's insane. when your brain is sleep deprived for 3 consecutive days, it makes you do some truly crazy shit, and see the world in a really fucked up way.

I saw the story on a TV special and it was clear to me that the couple hadn't slept in days b/c of doing Meth...therefore..they were soo fucked up they died in the snow storm.
then again anyone who is up for more than 2 days without sleep on meth or not is definately considered a "mentally insane" state of mind. (so I have been told)
