First of all, I have to thank Simon again for making this weekend possible!!!

Well, the only thing I liked about Ice's venue was that the DJ booth was close to the crowd. Other than that, I hated the venue. First off all, they need to:

1.) Get rid of that horrible air/fog blasting machine. Everytime that thing blowed, I was scared someone would step on me or grab me. And it was FREEZING air. Instead of wasting money on that thing, they should invest in a new air condition system.

2.) They need to invest on expanding the club, or atleast getting rid of the VIP section that's on the dancefloor. That thing was taking way too much space.

3.) Stop flashing those strob lights so fast. In combonation with that fog machine, my eyes were killing me, and they were so red. There were points that I had to close my eyes because they were hurting so bad!

It was kind of cool that there weren't too many "laundry service" people @ Ice... but instead, there were alot of drunken, sweaty slobs. Some of the guys were actually pretty damn hot lol, but I couldn't make eye-contact with any of the guys, because they would think I'm interested in them, and they'd try to dance with me. I didn't want to be bothered with any guys... I just wanted to be with my friends and enjoy the music!

About Sasha's set. He ROCKED like there was no tommorow! Wow, 4 hours of Sasha was like candy to my ears! I was kind of hoping he would play a few tracks he's been playing recently, but he didn't ... oh well.

I took the day off work today to just rest & relax... and get ready for Nic tonight!!

p.s. I'm glad I didn't make it in any of those pics!

great pics and great reviews!! (especially Clovsha's but that's to be expected when the man is seeing his #1 idol)... looks like it was a kick-ass night. i was at ICE last year for Ferry Corsten on Halloween weekend and i liked how close you could get to the DJ booth. it must have been sweet to stand there and watch Sasha do his thing.

What?? OMG girl this is what people love the most about Club Ice

Ah oh well, I am glad you enjoyed Sasha set, that's all that really matters. Next time I will come with you for sure. Maybe for New Years to see Lawler and Digweed.

This is probably one of the bigger attraction to ICE is the Kryo, plus it cools downt the dance floor. If you have 1500 people in a small confined place it gets hot even having a bad ass AC wouldnt help. This is another reason why they have the KRYO going at times to cool down the dancers.

This venue does have its problems, but honeslty if ice was a lot bigger you wouldnt of had the same vibe smaller venues create sometimes the best vibes mainly because its more intimate with the dj. You might get your wish soon from the rumor of things ICE has to move soon because the land that was purchase that ice stands on is owned by someone now that wants to put up high rises. Most likely it will be in a Casino and mayb it will be a bigger venue we will see.

At times the venue annoys me too they could expand few things (walk ways and what not). Overall this is definatly one of the better clubs in las vegas for good music. Hopefully Sasha enjoyed it enough he comes here more often atleast once or twice a year would rock.

agreed. the vibe in there is always good to me. there was a shit load of people tho which automatically lessens dancefloor space, so you get more head nodding (even tho we rocked that shiiiit) and I LoVE the kryo blasts.. hahah I don't think ill ever get sick of it but yea.. less VIP and more dancefloor for sure

i doubt they would cut down on VIP i wish most clubs in vegas did that but the fact vegas is a money city and VIP brings in cash. I personaly the whole table vip service has really made the club scene shitty for the last few years.

Sasha put on a really good show, I was a little skeptical after seeing him at Avalon, but it was a completely different show this time. The energy was 100 times higher and I loved how he was able to interact with the crowd. He really seemed to be paying attention to how the crowd was reacting. There was a little less dancing going on than I would have liked (except for the TAs of course!), but I guess that just means more room for me! Ice is a great club too, although I kinda feel like I'm being fire-extinguished when they spray that stuff!

Fun times, hope to see you all again soon!

It was nice to meet you too...although I was kinda confused as to who/what at the time Sasha was owning

Interesting...

Thats the first negative review ive ever heard about ICE, first off, its halloween for god's sake, poeple are going to be drunk, rolling, sweating, you name it.

1) If they got rid of that horrible air fog blasting machine, then the drunk/rolling slobs would just sweat even worse all over you, and you wouldn't want that.

2) The vip section is there for a reason, and its actually great that its placed where it is. If i pay big bucks for vip treatment, which is worth it sometimes, i want to clearly be able to see the croud, the dance floor and the dj. As far as it taking up too much space, it doesn't even compare to the space provided for GA/bar section, and back room.

3)Why complain about lights/ice machine? your in vegas, at a club called ice, on halloween night, @ Sasha.

I love that place, by far my favorite place to go see a dj spin.

Boyoyoyoyoyoing!!! Ohhh man I can't even begin to tell u all how much fun we had this weekend! A HUGE thank u to Boomer for bieng soo fucking cool! And once agian Happy 25th Birthday brutha! Was good seeing TA's in Vegas and meeting new ones (jennavive00)! Bas and Bunny whee fun to party with and it was cool meeting GPC again....properly lol!!! Thanks to Simon for letting us kinda chill at his room for a bit after the gig! Speaking of the gig.....SASHA fuckin ROCKED IT PROPER!!! he truly is #1 in my book and will most likey stay there for a very long time! he got on and wasted no fuckin time in building his set......bass drops....crowd goes nuts!! i love to see crowd reactions when a great DJ is on the decks! and i have to agree, Sasha was reading the crowd like a fuckin book! only a master like him could easily do that! That Kyro maching was fuckin awsome......the only problem i had with it was when i had been sweating for hours......then it blows out that cold ass air.... and i would literally think i was droped in Russia or something....i would freezzzzze my ass off for that 1 minute period! but i loved how u cant see shit and the strobe lights would mind fuck u even more!! total MIND FUCK....and we all know how much i like that ...

the vibe was great....people were nice.....music was awsome....only problem i had was in the beggining....not enough room to dance...but as the nigth progressed.....people would leave and more room for me to boogy on down! i gave this trip a 10 out of 10....everything went as planned nd i wouldnt change a god damn thing....ohh wait i would have gambled a bit....i think im the only person that went to Vegas....and didnt gamble for a god damn second!.....bah its ok, next time!
