Dude, I took Paxil for a few months and wanted to kill myself. The withdrawals caused maaaaaad puking and dry heaves. Then I took zoloft for a year. Turned me into a zombie and made me suicidal. Then I took prozac. Prozac worked out ok. You seem to be missing an idea of existentialism that's essential with people's medical problems: What work(s/ed) for you, may not WORK for someone else; What worked for someone else may or may not work for you.
Ill def agree with that, because everyones body/brain chemistry is different..so what may work for u may not work for someone else, but the general observation of certain drugs works the same kind of misery on most...speaking of being a zoloft zombie, i was one ..god, u felt as if someone struck u in the head with a baseball, and u walked around with that buzzing feeling in ur head, and absolutely no direction in character.

I'm surpised with what you have to say, you're not "pro-weed" while the psychotherapy is going on. Weed let's you "medicate" when you need it, instead of being stoned all the time like Zoloft.

I don't support it when people have problems and just try to smoke them away. I use it to give me breathing room so I can rationally think about my problems, and then I power through them.

Fuck!

Sincere advice : Do Yoga or Chi Kung on a regular basis, it will help you to relax and improve your mental balance. Forget regular exercise, it's not very useful for dealing with this sort of thing.

I get panic attacks from time to time, and Chi Kung helps with it.

I think I've had them when I've been at the dentist, though it's never been diagnosed so i can't be sure. I know exactly why im phobic - i can still feel extreme pain when im under local anaesthetic (on my first filling, i told the dentist that my mouth wasn't frozen, but she ignored me and went on drilling). I don't even try to deal with the fear/panic reaction - as far as i'm concerned, im panicking for a good reason. I avoid the trigger (dentist) at all costs - only when the pain (abcesses etc) has got totally unbearable, i go to the dentist and insist on a sedation.
