trance today relies on deep basslines and simple melodies...what has become more known as progressive trance.

Uplifting trance, at least back in the day, seemed to use big synths as its main piece, with relatively simple basslines.

HMMMMM rebel9 these tunes you've posted there are really nice especially this "firedance" track with it's "bladerunnerish" kind of feel...i forgot how good the early-mid 90s were with IDM, techno and trance.


Do you/does anyone have any links of other early trance tunes?Dance2 trance were really good(the early "trancemaster" compilations, brings back memories...)do u have any links for "resistance-d", "visions of shiva"(yep that's paul van dyk in his first guise), "microbots", "bioship-c","casseopyea", "cosmic-baby"(yep that's energy-52), "space-cube"?I'm also desperatelly searching for 10 years now(!!!) the first two tunes which were featured in a vision soundcarrier's compilation called "trancemaster vol.9-conditions of mental abstarction". These were mandala-"astralasia" and cosmo-"hymn (club mix)". Also,is it possible to find somewhere these old vision soundcarriers compilations? Can i find any albums from these old trance artists???Maybe any links or sites that could help? Any kind of help would be appreciated!!!Cheers!

I would recommend the german Ebay. Old classics pops up there very often.
