i totally fucking agree. But i mean think about it, a kid hates his reality of a bad life, and drugs change that. its kinda obvious.

I have never tried drugs, and I don't intend to try either.
Agree with the thread-starter, I've never met a guy on drugs without any small or major problems in his life.

Still I'm the biggest trance addict in Norway (haven't met any similar yet).
I'm so pleased that God gave me that taste for music!

8 years with pure pleasure so far

the kids in Traffic didn't seem to have messed up childhood, except for the girl who's father was a Senator. She has an excuse.

i'm assuming you're talking about that one about me taking a few bumps the night of my girlfriend's birthday back in early august while i had my "date" with me at the time (now boyfriend)...i would a hardly count that as doing drugs behind my boyfriend's back. i had only met him like a month before that, we were just dating.

lol...i'm not trying to act like I know you...
it's what I've gathered from your 'Look @ me: I'm an attn whore posts'.
That's all.
Ok. go on with your sober life then...nothing to see here.

I'm with most people in the thread, had a perfectly normal childhood growing up. I was actually pretty spoiled

I guess the only "bad" thing was my acne, but that was never an issue because I still had plenty of friends. Popular or not popular. I got through high school on my comedic charm and boyish good looks. Unfortunately neither of those got me laid, I think it had to do with the chubs and the fact that I was ridiculously shy.

But now i'm thin, good looking, and my girlfriend is hot...so I don't really care

Oh yeah I do drugs alot, although lately i've been pretty sober. It's weird just getting drunk every weekend when there's no coke around

i didn't exactly have the greatest childhood and i've been messing around with drugs since i was like 16.

this one friend of mine who is hilarious, is the biggest cokehead ever...he's the nicest guy and a lot of fun to party with, but man, did HE ever have a fucked up life. he came from an Amish family in Pennsylvania. hahah i guess when he turned 18, he was like PEACE OUT! can u imagine living the first half of your life like that, and then moving to Miami only to become a major cokehead and a playgirl model (he was featured in that magazine twice). jeeez!

STFU AND QUIT PLAYING THE BLAME GAME WITH YOUR PARENTS.

I'm 16 AND I KNOW I CANT BLAME MY PARENTS FOR HAVING TO BE AN ASS ON THE INTERNET. I KNOW I CANT BLAME MY PARENTS FOR THE FACT THAT IM ADDICTED TO OVER THE COUNTER DECONGESTANTS. I ALSO KNOW I CANT THANK MY PARENTS FOR MY 95.6% GRADE AVERAGE IN GRADE 11. BOOM.

ITS GREAT THAT YOU HAVE AMISH FRIENDS.

FUCK YOU SUV.

i havnt met any either. my parents got divorced in 1989, when i was 2, and after the divorce, they were still friends. then my dad got remarried in 1991, and his new wife was very jealous, and so my dad started hating my mom. got down to the point where when i was 10 or so, i had to communicate between them, because my dad just refused to talk to my mom, to "show" his love for his new wife. ive only been with my dad for maybe 3 or 4 weeks a year, my entire life. never been to any of my games, never taught me much of anything, never had a real close relationship, and that really fucked me over. even today, im bitter over it all, pisses me off.

then to make it worse, my mum married a bi-polar, manic depressive guy, that totally fucked me over even more. from 10-13, this guy treated me like a slave, and was a perfectionist, always telling me im a failure, and shit like that, punishing me harshly for the littlest infraction.

no father-figure makes a bit feminine, but in some ways thats good. im straight, but from living with only my mother all my life, i know a lot of how women think, and so i can be very good friends with them. i like to dress a little nicer than most people, i moisturize, etc.

and i do drugs

I'd venture to say that my drug use has actually been a good thing for me. It has helped me come out of my shell......not just while using them but in every day life. I know a couple of people who have had the same experience. I know I am in control and when I am older I will look back and be thankful for the time I spent fucked outta my mind

Drug use doesnt occur just because of abuse or bad childhood ...well it does but its a double edged sword, kids that feel that they were pampered all their lives , and came out of a rich suburbia family, might consider that lifestyle a curse and they look down on the fact that the parents kept them from experiencing real life problems/situations just like most kids. It can be both, I for example started doing drugs when I was 17 .. my pops died when i was 9, and i used to get beaten by my moms ex bf ...so I pretty much know my reality was hell. Not only that but my mother was never home, cuz she was working, i was always home alone ...and felt lonely. Drugs was definitely an escape, but it doesnt have to be just because of a bad thing, it can be because of a good upbringing which sheltered u from the world.
