I got this today (2005 R25 Renault F1 Car, with the #5 - alonso paint job )

and, i think it's the ep 2 weeks from tonight, where the stig drives a 2004 renault r24 f1 car around the top gear test track! it's amazing how much faster it is than even something like an enzo!

for monday 23rd jan, top gear on sbs 7.30
'Richard, James and Jeremy take a look at the Mustang - the huge American 'muscle' car. The team also takes a look at the Toyota Prius, the new hybrid car, containing both a standard petrol engine and an electric motor. This week, the driver of the Liana is rock giant, Roger Daltrey. The Who legend proves that rock is alive and well, and still driving at reckless speeds. The team also give out awards based on their analysis of the car market and of course bring it down a peg or two.'
EVO v Lambo too!

those that missed out on last week's ep missed a really good one, and omy at the ep coming up next week!!! I think this ep will be competing with the hingis tennis match on ch7. omy... boooo.. although watching NFL conference championships beats both, i think (mm hingis :/ ).

Tonight, on top gear!
quote:
"This week, Jeremy believes his Ferrari can beat a plane to Switzerland. Meanwhile, James, in a Mitsubishi rally car races a bobsleigh driven by Richard. The special guest this week is Eddie Izzard."

quote:
"Car v plane

Fact 1
A plane costs 50 million quid, travels at 550mph and cruises at an altitude of 30,000 feet.

Fact 2
A Ferrari costs £200,000 and does 196mph at 0 feet.

Conclusion
On the face of the evidence, racing a plane against a Ferrari 612 to the Swiss Alps might seem a bit pointless.

But Top Gear didn't become Britain's most popular motoring show by playing it safe.

Jeremy jumped into the Ferrari, set the climate control for a pleasant 23 degrees centigrade then headed off to Dover. Meanwhile Richard and James made that long walk back to the bus stop and waited.

Finally, after a bus ride, a train ride, a bus ride then a 90 minute wait to check-in, the intrepid duo were in the air.

What followed was a thrilling race across three countries which ended with Jeremy turning up as Richard and James tried to find the finish line. Needless to say, it was in this final stretch that driving a car was a distinct advantage. Not only does it keep your bottom warm, it also goes quicker than a man who refuses to run on television.

Jeremy loved the Ferrari, and although it developed a rattle that nearly drove him mad (caused by a bent windscreen wiper), he said that it would be hard to find a car that performed as well in all situations as this one."

Also on tonight's ep, renault f1 car around the top gear track, and comparison of old school racers against today's. A really great ep!!
