i can see an eq graphic, and a bar with the music lenght time...
so..

try numpad + and -. Foobar2000 works best with global shorcuts imo, I myself use shift + and shift - for volume.
theres a bloody good forum here for all your foobar needs

In the preferences dialogs. Valid for both Apollo and foobar2000.

Players

First, I have tried many different players in my time, some of whom played music really good, and some that was more * bling, bling *
A list of some players I've used

WinAmp
Sonique
iTunes
RealPlayer
Windows Media Player
Music match jukebox
Foobar2000
Apollo

The conclusion is simple. Use the one you like, but I prefer Apollo or Foobar2000. iTunes also get the job done... I like iTunes database system though... normally I use Apollo

this is exactly why i have converted to iTunes... i still use Winamp just for listening to songs which i haven't organized into my music folders... but once they're organized, iTunes all the way.

Winamp (I use it for centuries) -> easy to use, easy to change, lots of preferences. Easy to make own skins and plugins. Maybe it is slower but with the right settings it cost almost no performance of ur PC. However, I think the best player is just personal choice...

Get all of them, and make your favorite one the default. They're all needed for different things.

Realplayer - record shops
Winamp - Livesets
Quicktime - Videos

I use Windows Media Player for everything on my computer, but use the players above for their special tasks.

Anyone here use MusicMatch? It's very useful. It tags mp3's in and out, cleans all id3 tags (just like mp3trim pro does), built in eq, converts cbr/vbr mp3 to wav and vice versa, auto dj (this acts as a jukebox feature, not mixing), album art, volume leveling, and tons of other stuff. I only use the tagging feature and that's it, but it's very handy for all your mp3 needs. Sorry to sound like a commercial, but it's that damn good!
