Hey dude, Derek and I don't remember hearing Playmo, are you sure he played it?

Also add Hammer and Bennett- Language, one of the tunes of the night for sure!!!!

One more question Derek thinks he may have played either Ronski Speed with Stoneface and TErminal-Incognition or Martin Roth -Shockwaves, do you remember that?

I feel this pain too!

I think that people got there so early to make sure they got in OK and then the long wait for Armin killed it.

I wish Marco had been on before Armin.

The beginning of the party was a little seedy, tunes not that great, and I was certainly not ready for having no booze.

hahaha, surprised you guys didn't know about the no-alcohol in MTL afterhours. it's too bad. But glad you had fun regardless! That's why I come prepared with a 12-pack in the car . Sort of like a pre-afterhours tailgate party, even if it's -15 outside.

I even offered a beer to the bouncer outside (unopened and pristine I tell you!), but he threw it in the garbage . Happy New Year to you too buddy

+1.

I was guilty of that too. Normally I'm always down for a Marco G set (esp when it's him vs preach, the machine). But after a longggg new years, I just couldn't do it and bounced too... but like you said, poor guy.

Did anyone stick around? Or even for Danny Torrence who was supposed to close (I think?)

Ya I had no idea about the no alcohol at Red-Lite either! I planned on getting smashed, I mean its New Years Eve. The other thing, who listens to hip hop and doesn't drink?? I just think that is so weird. I HATED, was the washrooms. By far THE NASTIEST washrooms I have ever been in. This was only my second time partying in Montreal, so I was not prepared to share washrooms with guys. All the toilets were plugged....fuck just thinking about it grosses me out. If there was one thing that would hold me back from partying in Montreal again, it would be the co-ed washrooms. Other than those two things the night was perfect.

Ditto.
I was dancing on the speaker and I saw the mass leave when Armin left. It was really bad. But I must admit that Armin was very hard to keep up with. He really put out that night and made us all trip.

Oh yeah. I was the asian guy walking around with the pacifier in my mouth. Partying it up on the speaker LOL

Yep. Marco G pulled out decent considering the level that Armin set out for him. Maybe not in the same league, but would be very enjoyable if we weren't all so spoiled from Armin... Zocalo...woooaahhh...
