Some of us, at least, have better things to do than play head games. The people I respect (of which there are many, whether or not some of the hippies here believe it) have always been up front and not hypersensitive. And I simply don't have the patience to pretend to have respect for the others just for the sake of getting laid. Maybe that's extreme on the other end of the spectrum, but at least I don't cry for an hour every week because of some ho.

You can't respect someone who always kisses up to you - it's sickening. If you act like this, you'll always eventually end up getting treated like crap when they find out you're a doormat.

That doesnt mean you have to play games and be an ass to them either. Many guys are like that too.

The most true way you can be is nice to someone until they do something that disrespects you. Then you have to syand up for yourself. And being nice doesnt mean buying things. Being nice means having respect for someone and being honest. Most girls dont know how to handle honesty and prefer the lies. Id even say that most canadian women even force guys to lie to them because they dont want the truth. But eventually u will find the girl who appreciates a guy for who he is, not what he has or how easy he can be walked on. It takes a bit longer this way but its all about quality, not quantity.

If you are a guy who gets abused or is abusive then you will get nothing but grief for the rest of your life from the opposite sex.

WOW, some of you are guys are absolute morons

Like I said, there's more background than I care to share. It was coming to the end of the night. We came together, we were gonna leave together. She had no place to go and ALL her belongings were at my house in St. Catharines. I'm not about to leave a girl that I cared for stranded in a huge fucking city where she doesn't know a single person and doesn't know where the fuck to go. (midya though, she coulda just stayed with one of the dudes she met )

But I'm not an asshole. Vivid Boy. You obviously are. There's no room for discussion there, so I'm not even going to bother with your responses.

Let me clear this up. Yes, she was acting very immaturely in front of me, but she probably thought I thought nothing of it. And that's what I wanted her to think because it would've turned into another 3 hour arguement about the same bullshit over and over again! I avoideda bigger headache than I already got!

When we got back to mine I told her to take the Greyhound to Toronto that night and to stay in a Hostel. At first, she said ok, I was happy... then it turned into, I'm tired and don't want to make the trip anymore. WTF!! Typical, can't make her mind up. I told her NO, again, and again, until she went to my room and cried in the dark. So I guess I'm an asshole again... well guess what, I'm not, so I told her fine, she can stay the night and she has to leave in the morning.

Because knowing FULL-WELL that if I slept in the same bed as her, we were gonna fuck. There's no if, ands or buts! It's the way our relationship worked... it was based on sex... cause when it's good it's good. And I know that's why she wanted to stay one more night... that one final fuck. Well, that's why I slept on the couch, my payback for the night before



I also took into account, which some of you haven't yet, that because she doesn't know anybody, that's why I didn't "walk away" from her. I gotta be there to make sure she's ok. She's in a strange city and doesn't really know how people can act when they are all fucked on coke and E. Remeber I spent most of the night away from her in the first place. There was ample opportunity for her to flirt and pick-up while I wasn't around... and then I wouldn't care!

Again, the issue at hand... It was right in front of me!

That kind of rationalizing is exactly why you got treated the way you did. She knew that she could do whatever the hell she wanted and still have a ride and a warm bed (without you in it ) at the end of the night.

I don't mean to be callous but you don't realize how ridiculous you sound. You let her stay with you just because you didn't want to argue? How about dumping her at the first motel you find instead of arguing?

This type of thing will happen to you over and over again unless you stop rationalizing these poor decisions and stop trying to make it THEIR fault. Yes, she was a bitch, but you didn't have to put up with it and in fact had several opportunities to either ditch her or shut her up.
