Carolina's front four is missing Kris Jenkins, but can still wreck havoc. Dan Morgan up the middle is as good as any of the linebackers in the league and their secondary has the speed to put themselves into position to make plays.
Offense is going to decide this game, mostly, can Nick Goings be effective running the ball? The holes will be there on the Seattle defense. If he can at least be some kind of a threat, Steve Smith will have an easier day. Seattle's defense is stacked up well against a runner like Goings.
Carolina can stop Seattle through the air, but if Shaun Alexander can take the game over, any questions about Nick Goings are null.
I think Carolina will win, even without Foster. This team was a field goal away from overtime against the Patriots a few years ago and they are good. If they can play mistake-free, they should win in Seattle |
