global warming may actually make the near term better for snowboarding because in general it precipitates more when temperatures are a little warmer. So long as the temperature can stay below the magic number, you will be good. Concededly, however, global warming is NOT good for the sport.

not so fast. while storms may become more frequent because of global warming, previous breaks may become ineffective if the ocean level rises enough to disrupt the break formation.
