I don't believe this to be true. I think telling someone you appretiate them is like telling someone you love them and making it known to them that you care about them. Which is how I feel about a lot of people on TOTA. So what's wrong with telling those people in person as opposed to creating 1231685132165465 threads about it on TOTA where people (read: most people who aren't part of that very small clique) really, REALLY, don't give a fuck.
