thanks to all who tuned in.

yeh i was alerted to the fact the live streams werent working.

infact not much in that studio was

they had hooked up the studio in a weird way.. for previous hiphop mc'ing shows they had the decks in one room and the rappers in the other.. they crossed the wires so the dex could be going whilst the rappers rapped in the other room

however they did not fix this up. unfortunately there were people recording stuff in the other room, which meant the turntable channels were rendered useless unless we wanted to hear random bullshit about "things that annoy us" being blasted over the airwaves.. which meant no mixey mixing..

All we had were cd players.

definately not ideal for my radio debut, but we did our best and thought it went okay. hopefully i will be back when everything is working 100% or close to..

thanks again to nelson and nick (absent) who had me on.. was great fun and a good learning experience.. :P

We all got schooled in equipment and management and community radio reliability.

So what were the problems?
1. Live stream wouldnt work
2. Sound from Production studio was coming through to ours (through the mixer)
3. One of the 2 cd players wouldnt work

But Soupsy managed fine by himself (he actually knows more of the workings of the studio that me now)

and we got no sms'
(the number is on the syn.org.au site, silly people)

i didnt think of looking on the site hehe
i was all ready to send a sms but i didnt hear all the number and he only said it once
ah well you did alright given the conditions although go easy on the volume changes when you are about to talk hehe. nice work
