Of course he wouldn't mention his troubles with Dave. Especially when he's the one at fault. What, would you just be hanging around one day and he just inadvertently blurt out "Hey, you wanna hear something sweet? There's this one time when I screwed over Dave Armstrong..."
They made a few successful tracks a couple years back. They don't work together anymore. Ask yourself (or better yet, ask him) why is that? In fact, ask him when's the last time he talked to Dave.

1) This isn't local politics...Dave, like all great Vancouver musicians, is recognized everywhere except at home, so he's pretty unattached from the local scene.
2) Dave's not the kind of person to start shit. But he's pretty disillusioned about all this, and it's outlined in his DAMM Tracks philosphy.
