I also tend to live by Exchange Theory
- something only has value if it can benefit you. If the cost to obtain that benefit is more then the benefit received it is of no value. This applies to everything.

Never go out drinking on a thurday night (esp @ a place called Beba Lounge) when you have to work the next morning.
