Porter was great...Gallery was the highlight of the night - as has been the case for a while now.

steve porter - 8/10 (9/10 in gallery)
junkie xl - 8/10
picotto -0.5/10 (0.5 for the opening track or he'd have gotten a 0/10)
second sun - 7/10 (energetic pa, bit too cheesy for me)
Mark Oliver - 8/10

It was just one of those nights for me that should have been amazing, but felt like i just got the raw end of anything good for the most part. I entered through the drink and BIG MISTAKE. that was the worst set i've EVER heard from manzone & strong! most of the time they have a fun funky house set the mood for the night, and their music was so blah. very disappointed. Then went down stair right as MO played 'say hello' so that at least braught things up. Caught the end of porters set and it was pretty cool, i was digging his stuff.

Junkie XL gets a 9/10. He salvaged what was good of the night, played great music and really enjoyed it. THings started going down hill when i went to catch second sun near the front of guv. that was a mistake and i could not enjoy them at all from all the pushing, completely ruined anything good about their set, and i wasn't crazy about that guys voice anyways. went back to Kool Haus, and mauro suxed as mentioned, including the first song, it was just meh, nothing special. and that first beat he dropped pierced through the speakers anhilating my ears. I was starting to feel like shit by this point, woulda liked to hear porter in gallary, but just way to packed. I didn't have it in me to wait another 1:30 to catch blank & jones which sucked, so ended up leaving b4 the group i came to see even came on That really blew because thats never happened b4. I can thank Mauro for ruining the vibe though. He used to be so much better too.

junkie was spectacular, that worm man/lady hanging from the ropes freaked me out for a while, then I loved it. Junkie never actually smoked that cigarette. Picotto is strange but not as bad as I am reading, he is impatient with his builds and drops, too quick to drop. Really good party, amazing people there. Picotto insisted on playing at a decibel level normally reserved for making people deaf, while playing a consistent flow of music normally reserved for making people insane, so I left, couldn't wait for Blank and Jones plus I was very happy with Junkie, guess i left early, fack guess that makes me old....I have videos, several of Junkies set and Mauro's opening track....

best bday! had a couple of bottles of vodka at the drink then went down at about 1 ( i think ) and then i dont remember what happened lol all i know is that music was great in every room (except orange ).
met some TA's as well... don't remember names, only faces

met this girl from Oakville at the drink, pretty sweet girl but shortly after hanging out with her she passed out on the couch and wouldnt wake up. kept an eye on her until she barfed and bouncers came and took care of her. felt bad for her but nothing could ruin my night
