Don't expect me to have any respect for what you have to say unless you grow some testicles (or backbone if you're a chick) and say what you have to say with regular account in a public manner. Why should I respond to an infantile attempt at communication?

Yea I guessed so from what others have said but I'm reserving judement until he says so. I'm not good with this cor bullshit of multiple accounts that beats around the fact. I'm as straightforward as it comes. If Pee Sprinkles wants to be Pee Sprinkles for the indefinite future than so be it. If Pee Sprinkles is trying to call me out on shit than be prepared ... be very prepared. That is all I have to say on the issue.

I would say that science and religion concern themselves with different questions. To oversimplify: science deals with the "how" and religion with the "why". I would say that religion is a subset of philosophy that does not intersect with science (as philosophy itself does).

Umm well one need need to concern faith at all when we're dealing with facts. I don't know what kind of facts you deal with on a day to day basis but I tend to treat facts as ... factual.

Haha what? Faith has offered NO EXPLANATION for how something has come from nothing. Yet it's tragically humorous how you attempt to slander science with the glib notion that faith in any way maintains a superior stance at the expense of logic. In all curiousness, can you logically argue your stance?

whoa...you read a lot into my statements and didn't do a very good job

i said i was drunk because in my initial post i said the exact opposite of what I meant and had to correct it.

you restated my point in your second paragraph, i was saying that one does not need to have faith when there are facts so it's hard to call science a religion.

i did not say that religion offers an explanation for our existence, only that science does not, currently, and so some degree of faith is needed to believe some of the current scientific theories...

while i don't think the percentage is that high, i think that's just about the worst defense of religion people use. since when is the majority opinion the correct one by default? if anything, the majority is less educated...so how does that fit into that argument?

Mark Twain has a great quote, "Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect."

Well then it is statistically confirmed: 99% of the worlds population are idiots.

Statistically 99% of the world puts faith in the facts, but those facts are not physical evidence because those facts have no proof. So you need faith to make you believe in whatever you believe in. Science tells us some facts, but not all the facts, and the fact remains that religions is lacking facts, but it has substantial proof that 99% of the population has faith. The universe, in its almighty infinite size, has power over faith & can be divided by insecurity and multiplied by the facts. This mathematical equation looks something like this:

U(FxP)/I = X

Now if "X" is greater than 1, then the facts speak louder than the faith. If "X" is lower that 1, then religion out ways proof but insecurity becomes universally secure. If X is equal to 0, then religion and science are exactly the same & the universe will implode and suck us all into unspace and then sit us all down a large battle arena where 'God' and 'Mother Nature' will fight with axes to the death.
